Ponder Pop Art
Art has always been something that warrants thinking about it and analyzing it. Be it wondering what emotions it evokes in you, to what the symbols behind it could mean.

When I first saw “Ponder” I did think about how fascinating it was. It had my favorite colors in it, but smack dab in the middle of what looks like a pristine white flower, it has.. Yellow.

I don’t know why I absolutely abhor yellow. And white. I guess the happy, light feelings they evoke are just too unbearable sometimes, what with my artist’s morose moods.

One time I did read that yellow actually means “servanthood,” in terms of “spiritual” colors. Purple, they said, was the color of royalty. And white, I must guess that it means purity.

So if you base the colors of this Limited Edition Pop Art piece, you would realize that it was the perfect combination of servanthood, royalty and purity, what a spiritual person needs to be, right?

Honestly, when I first looked at this Pop Art piece, I didn’t realize that its centerpiece was a flower until I noted the bright pink edges. But that wasn’t even until the moment that I actually started to ponder about it.

Funny what you find in Limited Edition sections of Pop Art websites. :D

So do I think that the title is apt? Absolutely. :) It did make me think, realize, dredge up what I’ve learned about colors, analyze, mull over the symbolism of the colors, think about what the central figure was, and actually.. Ponder about this beautiful painting, which can be yours if you click this link (or the picture of the pop art itself). ;)
