If you’ve decided to turn one of your best photographs into a My Pop Art masterpiece, it may be time to test your color personality. Since your work of Pop Art may become a real centerpiece in your household, decide which colors not only suit your decor but you.
Color is a very personal choice, though we often don’t think of it that way. Color signifies the way you are feeling and occasionally, the way you want to feel. We all know when we’re not feeling so great, dark colors seem to prevail. And there’s a reason for that. They resonate with our mood and they’re not attention getters. When we’re feeling kind of down, the last thing we feel like wearing is shocking pink, right?
In the same turn, you can also create mood with color. Many of us have soft, muted tones in our bedroom, because we either consciously or subconsciously want our place of rest to be just that, restful.
In opposition, many restuarants will choose bright, vivid colors. Not only is it an appetite stimulant, but bright colors seem to excite our personalities, enticing us to talk, feeling animated. Restaurant owners know that a busy, bustling restaurant is a good sign, hence their color choice.
So what is your color or colors of choice? What do you feel like when you wear them? Think of some colors you really dislike and hardly ever wear – what do you think those colors say about you?
Sometimes its fun to mix it up and take some color chances. Most of us become too familiar with our favorite colors. This Spring, take some color chances. See how it makes you feel. Even try out those colors you’ve taught yourself to believe look so awful on you. Colors are a great way to explore the way you feel as well as the way you want to feel.
