As an artist, it’s not always easy for me to buy presents for my other creative friends. That’s why I’m so pleased My Pop Art is a keystroke away. Many of many friends involved in creative fields are actually very picky. They don’t like anything “standard” or run of the mill. Nor do I like buying them something that doesn’t tickle their fancy. In other words, it makes me look like a rather, er, uncreative person if I can’t think of something creative to give them. Sure – it’s a contest sometimes!
But My Pop Art allows me to send them an affordable, creative present that they are all sure to enjoy.
Take Tom for instance: he’s a visual, multi-media artist. Very talented, very busy. When I visit him, his apartment is always a hodgepodge of creativity – cool little knick-knacks, sculptures and of course, his giant work hanging about the walls.
I sent a photograph of him as a child into My Pop Art. He looked as innocent and sweet as could be, before New York City made him an ultra-hipster! When I brought him the final piece, he was in shock. He hadn’t seen the photo in years, let alone in Pop Art fashion. It really choked him up a bit. He now keeps it right near his bed and looks at it every morning. He says it helps me remind him how it all began.
Well, that’s how My Pop Art can help out, with your more creative batch of friends!
