It’s summertime and a great time to plan a party or BBQ. People like to be outside and seem a little more free-spirited than usual. My Pop Art cards are a perfect way to send an invitiation to your friends and family.

Backyard parties are always an option. You can get some torches and citronella candles (perfect to keep the dreaded mosquito away) to set the atmposphere. The food can be simple. If you have a grill, then you can toss just about anything on it, from burgers to fresh fish to a myriad of vegetables. You can even grill a banana – put it over ice cream. It’s a delicious summer treat.
It’s nice to have some summery music playing in the background. Reggae feels summery but even some classical or jazz will do the trick. If you can get some people dancing, then better yet. You don’t have to worry so much about things getting knocked over or drinks spilling.

Speaking of drinks, it’s a perfect time to make some sangria. Get cheap red wine (buying good red wine for sangria is kind of a waste) and cut up some fruits (anything from peaches to oranges to limes to blueberries – the sky is the limit…except for banana!) Chill it very well and you have yourself the standard drink for summer. For non-alcoholic beverages, use club soda in place or red wine.
