Pop Art Start to the Day

When I first discovered My Pop Art online, I thought their services seemed really interesting but I wasn’t sure what to do with them. I’m not a great photographer and I don’t know a tremendous amount about art. Before, my walls had very random art - you know, some landscape oil painting on one wall and a framed sketch of an old man (I didn’t even know the old man - even he was random!)

So I pulled out my camera and took some shots that I thought I’d like to wake up to, so I could start the day off with images that put me in a positive “frame” as it were. I took some shots of daffodils in my back yard as well as shots of a steaming cup of coffee. I also took a shot of a view I have overlooking a beautiful lake. My husband is in the frame, looking out over the landscape.

I sent the photos off to My Pop Art and when they came back, they were real works of art. They were my shots but somehow amplified with bright colors and shades. They were larger than life. I was so pleased with myself! Not only did they look cool and artsy, they were mine. The images came from my home and reminded me of the magic in my own backyard. No more random old men and landscapes for me. These shots were by me and from me.  That’s what makes them extra special.
